The visit starts in the palace-house of the wine cellar which was built in the early 1900’s by Jose Donderis, a famous architect at that time. The guide starts the tour with a brief introduction of the history of the wine cellar from the foundation to the present. The guide then explains the production process of cava, from the careful selection of the grapes to labeling of the final product. The tour then consists of a visit to the installations. The house, production room, Cava tunnels, caves, wine barrels wooden ware house. After the visits we offer a tasting of wine and cava. The cellar also has a wine boutique for the visitors to buy our products. As part of your visit you will be presented with a complementary souvenir bottle of your visit.

Bodegas Torroja S.L.mainly produce quality wines, with D.O.Utiel-Requena and D.O.Valencia. A selection of the best grapes is used to produce our main wines. These grapes are selected from our best vineyards and from different suppliers with extensive experience in the sector.

Grapes mainly used are:

Bobal, local grape from Utiel-Requena area, very interesting for red and rosé wines. Tardana, we are pioneers and still the only winery bottling 100% Tardana as premium quality wines. Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
